Aged only 21 when signed in December 2003 from Aylesbury United where he had been a crowd-favourite and regular for the previous 2 seasons. Started his playing career as a youngster with Marlow in 1997/8, but was quickly snapped-up by Yeovil Town, arriving at Huish Park in the summer of 1998. Enjoyed three seasons with the Glovers playing for the youths, reserves and senior side before leaving to join Southend United in the summer of 2001 on a full-time contract. Made just half a dozen senior appearances for the Shrimpers and was also 'loaned' out to Dover Athletic during that time making 3 appearances in the Conference. He joined Salisbury City in February 2002 and from there was signed by 'Cords' for the Ducks. A UEFA 'B' coaching badge holder and qualified referee (!!). Scored a sensational goal against the league–leaders Lewes in only his second Staines start. A much-publicised knee injury inflicted by a ‘blade’ in the derby match with Egham in Jan 2004 kept him out until July ’06. | ||||
