Maskell

This experienced striker joined the Club from Aylesbury United, as Steve Cordery’s assistant. A proven player at the highest level, he scored over 150 goals in a professional career which started with his local club, Southampton, and moved on to Huddersfield Town, Reading, Swindon Town, and Brighton & Hove Albion. Whilst with the ‘Saints’ he made a dozen or so appearances in the Premiership, scoring once. His pro’ career ended when Leyton Orient released him at the start of the 1999/2000 season and (after a short spell in Hong Kong) he first joined Cordery at Hampton & Richmond Borough, moving on to Aylesbury in Summer ‘02. In 2002/3, he was amongst the Premier Division’s top marksman with 26 league and cup goals for the ‘Ducks’. A very influential character both on and off the pitch who lends the benefit of his experience to all his team-mates. Can still be seen playing masters football for Southampton
