Began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he was a Reserve team regular, but went on loan to Barnsley for League experience. Subsequently played for Stevenage Borough, Enfield, Chesham United, Chelmsford City, and Heybridge Swifts.  Signed for Windsor & Eton in 2004 but switched to Maidenhead United in that December, only to return to Windsor 9 months later.  Was at AFC Wimbledon briefly, and did the pre-season ’07 at York Road, before having a couple of games at Beaconsfield SYCOB and then back to Maidenhead in Oct ’07, while concentrating on other sports for most of this season.  Cross signed for Staines in March 2008, playing just once, but returned in pre-season as a fully-fledged Swan.
