Captured from Leatherhead in the close season 2007, Marc was the subject of Staines’ first ‘transfer fee’ for almost 6 years.  His height and pace had made him a regular goalscorer for the Division One South side.   Spent his formative years at the Catford Protec Football Academy under Alex Inglethorpe, joining The Tanners in 2002 and going straight into their 1st XI.  Scored Staines’ first-ever goal in the FA Cup competition proper – the equaliser at Edgeley Park in Nov ’07, the second successive year he had featured at this stage of the competition, having done so with Leatherhead. MCS finished last season on loan at Boreham Wood, helping the side to retain it’s Premier Division status.
